An introduction

The Samsung NC10 arguably revolutionised the netbook market upon its release in the back-end of 2008. It was the first offering from Samsung in what became a highly competitive market attracting a great deal of interest during a period when money was hard to come buy. The combination of high portability, great price and computing power made the NC10 a popular choice with technology reviewers around the world.

What can the NC10 do?

The NC10 is able to run all day to day software used by most home users. This includes office applications and of course web browsing software. Unfortunately the limited graphics card makes it unsuitable for playing modern games but it is perfectly capable of running classic older computer games such as Unreal Tournament! With a wide range of modern connectivity the NC10 is easily hooked up to the Internet via a home wireless connection. Earlier models did not have an internal 3G modem but this was included in later models available in certain parts of the world. Our European neighbours in Poland were the first to receive this enhancement.

Note that if you see a new NC10 available for purchase it might be slightly different to the original version that was on sale historically. The new NC10 is still a reasonable purchase but it should cost significantly less than newer models.
