Overview

The Samsung NB30 burst onto the scene in January 2010. This model was Samsung's first attempt to create an "ultra durable" ultra mobile PC which was able to withstand limited water contact and sudden shocks.

However, more realistically, the NB30 might be described as "semi-rugged". Although it is more sturdy than the average portable it still needs to be handled with care!

Otherwise the NB30 is very similar to other models in the Samsung range and can offer you a great mobile computing experience. You'll be able to browse the net and edit documents on the move no problems!

Semi Rugged Features

The NB30's unique angle is it's tougher than normal feature set:

Touch Screen

The NB30 is the first netbook to feature a touch screen version. This comes at an additional cost and is not a feature of all editions so if this is something you require make sure you buy the right version!

TouchPad

You can tune the numerous touchpad settings to your preferences: disabling the "tapping" function, ajusting sensitivity, configuring the "Application Gestures", Momentum, Edge Motion, ...
