The Samsung N230 Storm (Samsung NP-N230-JA01DE/SEG)was announced in June 2010, and hit the shops the following month. This netbook continued the slow and steady evolution of the range, and thanks to a 13hr battery, managed to grab people's attention.

Overview

The Samsung N230 is a netbook in the successful range of ultra portable PCs. Released in July 2010, this model set itself apart on two key areas:

• It is available with a 6-cell battery that can supply over 13hrs of run time, this is market leading battery life.
• Its super slim stylish looks set the N230 apart as a genuinely smart professional looking device.

Other than that the device is in fairly standard netbook territory, powered by an Intel Atom N450 chip.

Note: The N230 is also available with a slimmer, lighter 3-cell battery that should provide around 7hrs of battery life.
