Overview
The Galaxy S is an Android powered smart phone from Samsung. It is a high end feature rich device which is clearly offered up to us consumers as an iPhone competitor. The phone seems to have been warmly received by the tech blogs thanks to the phones Android operating system which seems to be preferred over previous offerings. The phone also provides full HD video recording among all the features you'd expect from a top range smart phone.
The Android powered Galaxy S has a Super AMOLED screen which allows for stunning bright images, one review sights this as reason alone to purchase the phone.
Criticism
The S has received plenty of praise but in fairness the critics have felt the need to point out the following issues. Whether or not these are a problem are for you to decide
- No free GPS mapping solution
- Apple style lack of Flash support in the web browser
- The plastic body can be a fingerprint magnet
- Low powered loudspeaker
- No camera flash
