Overview
The Series 5 Chromebook notebook first came available in June 2011 signifying Google's intent to extend it's operating system market share. The 12" model was well received and particularly noted for it's quality build, long battery life and great screen quality that allows outdoor viewing.
Criticisms include the trackpad and requirement for an adapter to enable video out. Others have questioned whether Google's Chrome OS provides enough functionality for the majority of users.
