Samsung Application Store
Overview
The Samsung Application Store was launched in September 2009. With Apple proving that the paid for mobile application model can be very lucrative indeed, it was only natural that the worlds leading supplier of mobile electronics was going to get in on the game. The store enables users to download application via their mobile network or via Wi-Fi and provides a choice from a range of 1000s of handy programmes. Just like Apple's iStore, the Samsung version contains both free and paid for apps. Alternatively apps can be downloaded via your PC using Samsung Kies.
Samsung supports developers by providing a range of documentation, tips, and resource to help the more technically able amongst us to to produce and market mobile applications on Symbian, Windows Mobile and the Samsung Bada operating systems..
