Tablets have been around for longer than many people realise, and actually Samsung have helped pave the way with early models such as the Samsung Q1.
However it was Apple that really kicked off the Tablet market after bringing the iPad to the masses.
At this point Samsung decided to re-enter the tablet market with the eagerly awaited Samsung Galaxy Tablet range.
- The first Samsung Tablet to be released to much fan-fair was the P1000 way back in Q3 2010.
- This was followed in 2011 by two complimentary models, the 8.9" and 10" versions
- Towards the end of 2011 the 7" Galaxy Tab plus was released, essentially an updated of the original
