The netbook concept has grown up quickly, not long ago, in early 2008, few people had even heard of these ultra portable PCs but the Internet reacted quickly to these great little machines. A number of sites have grown up and prospered thanks to their diligent authors and widespread interest in the topic.

- Portable PC Photos: Extreme Netbooking is a break from the normal news related gadget sites. This blog is dedicated to YOUR photos of your gadgets out in the wild. The more interesting and original the more likely your picture will be features!
- Liliputing: Brad Linder's US netbook site covering the latest news on portable computing.

- nDevil: German language site, although comes with translation options and many videos also feature English language versions

Samsung Netbooks
- Samsung Community Site: SammyNetbook.com is the site that gave birth to the Samsung Wiki. Started by Jez in November 2008 it quickly became the community site for Samsung netbooks. This sharp rise in traffic was put down to good timing, luck and some helpful early contributors who helped kick start the forum. Based on friendly and supportive chat the forum has alienated several outspoken early members, however those that remain enjoy being able to ask any questions they like without being made to feel stupid.

- NC10 Ubuntu blog: Hints and tips for linux fans
- linuxonmysamsung.com (No longer active): Linux on my Samsung was created for the many users who enjoy using the many excellent distributions of the Linux operating system. Although this topic is discussed extensively on SammyNetbook.com the founder of this site has a great deal of knowledge to add.
