Want a clean looking Netbook, want to remove the Samsung logo from the outside case of your Netbook, want to get rid of the stickers on the inside of the device? This page will help!

Warning: Think carefully before you do this, you might not be able to put the logo or stickers back on again easily, if at all!

This guide was inspired by a thread regarding the Samsung NC10 but should you want to remove the logo from any other models (NC20, N120,N110, etc) then the same logic should apply, or even if you own a Samsung Laptop or Notebook.

Removing the logo

Many SammyNetbook members report easy removal of the stickers and logo just using their fingers and then cleaning up any remaining sticky residual glue.

Removal Tips

  • If using cleaning fluids, always check that the fluid won't damage the finish of the cover first. Test the fluid on a small area on the underside of the netbook and proceed cautiously. Some fluids can and will damage plastics and cause discolourisation. Proceed at your own risk!
  • If there is any glue left on the NC10 use the sticky back of the one you've just pulled off to remove it.
  • Have your NC10 on for an hour or so before removing the stickers. It'll make removing the stickers that little bit easier when its warmed up a little.
  • Keep the stickers if you can, just put them on the underside or in your instruction book, just in case you ever resell the NC10, little things like that make the sale more attractive as the product looks as new.
