Complete backup

You might want to do a complete backup of your Samsung netbook upon the first boot. To do this, follow these instructions. Beware that those instructions are not documented by Samsung and, as the software presents you the choice of reformatting completely your hard drive, be careful not to erase your hard drive. Reported to work for the following models: NC10, N110, N120, N130, N140, N310, NB30.

Press F4 on startup to access Recovery Solutions. When the software is started or when you see the CLUA, Press CTRL-ALT-F10 and enter the password "secos". You are now in an "advanced" mode.

Click on the "Image" tab, then choose "Export". Choose a destination.

The backup will be useless if your hard drive crash and if you haven't created a bootable USB thumb drive or memory stick. Click on the "Tools" tab then on "AdminTool USB".
