need help changing language on 40 d5000 LED tv

Hello my Dad has bought the 40 d5000 today but we cant set up the language from the start up plug and play, can anyone help please?? The language appears to be german
Satellite tv plays fine through the scart so there is no fault with the set I believe.

One method is to trigger a reset by holding down the "exit" button on the remote. When it restarts it should ask you to chose a language.

Let us know if that works.
