I mentioned it in another post, so thought I'd put the question out to other Sammyfans!
Did Samsung price the Tab and related models at the right price, I wanted one but held back purely over cost.
What do you think?

Yes, I'm afraid to say that price has so far put me off buying a tablet.
The way I see it is that a tablet, although a cool gadget to have and I'm sure I'd use loads round the house, doesn't really allow me to do anything that I can't already do on my netbook. My netbook can surely do a whole lot more and has the flexibility of running Windows.
So although a tablet is a "nice to have", I can't really justify spending hundreds of pounds on one.
Now there are some cheaper tablets out there but so far they seem underpowered, I think owning a poorly specced tablet is worse than not having one at all! So for now I'm going to wait and see what happens to specs and price. I'm sure at some point I'll take the plunge.
Must say that the Amazon Kindle touch (or whatever it will be called) seems promising. Looks like it could be the right price and will do all the basic stuff - curious to see what their custom Android install will be like though?
There are cheaper tablets out there but you need to decide if they are worth the money. I do really think you get what you pay for when you buy a tablet.
If you want a good one, whether an Apple Ipad or a Galaxy Tab or something else. You will have to pay for it. Or you could wait![]()
