Windows password

Hi i have an NP-N110 and had to reload from the recovery manager and when i restarted its asking for a password have tried everything i can think of. The machine is running windows7 starter and have tried to use the password resetter from my main pc's windows7 32bit but it just errors any one know the password???

Hi Andy,

It sounds like you have run a restore and returned Windows to an earlier position where this password is required. It sounds like it would be a password that you setup at some point (or if the netbook is second hand then one someone else entered).

If you really dont know what it is then there are some commercial Windows recovery packages available - youll have to do your own homework on that, or personally Id just reinstall Windows.
