No Sound on my NC10

I have no sound on my NC10, everything looks set up to go but it doesn't work.
Can anyone help please?

Is it a "default" install - ie still using Windows XP as installed with the netbook?

Have you tried turning the speakers on and off using FN+F6?
And the volume up using FN+Right arrow key?

Other options might be to go back to a system restore point in windows (google will help you do this), return to a restore point using Samsung recovery or try to reinstall the sound drivers.

Remember to backup any important stuff before attempting to change anything!!

Have tried the options you mentioned re the keys etc. I am still using Windows XP . I haven't tried a system restore as I'm not sure what to do!
