Samsung N220 Plus

Looking for any help if possible please.

I have a N220 with upgraded memory to 2Gb, got an HD camera for Xmas but I'm having trouble viewing video on the device. Pictures are not smooth running and sound not in sync. I have tried recording in lower resolution which also fails. Someone mention Codecs but that's all Russian to me. Reading online, I have 32 bit installed as standard with WIndows 7 Starter, would it help to re install with 64 bit which is apparently available on my Notebook?

I think the Atom in the N220 can run 64 bit apps but the problem you'll have is finding 64 bit drivers for the netbook's hardware. If you can't find a good guide to how this is done and the drivers to install then I'd be very cautious especially if you are unsure about all this!

I am not sure it would make a huge difference anyway.

There are some tips over at sammynetbook regarding how to get the most out of your netbook but unfortunately HD video is one thing that they do struggle with a little.
