Hi just being a little lazy, but a new N130 has been purchased with 2 year Samsung warranty & 2 year AVG included (the deal from Argos) & pre-registered, but cannot see any mention of AVG on the system. How do we activate this ?, and how do we ensure the Samsung Warranty is in force. Thanks

afaik the warranty is just in place, when my NC10 went wrong I was asked when I bought it but didn't have to show proof of purchase. Although to be sure you should give the official Samsung peeps a call. They are normally helpful - get in touch over at the official Samsung (http://www.samsung.com)site.
Not sure about the free AVG deal though Argos, but you should be able to see registration details if you double click the AVG icon in the bottom right hand corner to open up the control centre. Then have a look under the help menu and you should have some details there, on mine it says "Register" near the bottom of the menu but that will be the standard registration. If it's not obvious give 'em a shout and let us know as Im sure other owners might come across this thread!
I now use Microsoft's Security Essentials (http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/) on my netbook.
