N130 Help

Hi, newbie here. Just got a new N130 for my daughter who is MSN Live Messenger mad. Unfortunately unable to get the Live Messenger layout screen on the N130 to look similar to the one viewed on our laptop & desktop. Also webcam does not work on MSN LM (but does otherwise) Tried downloading from MSN, but current version (from Help) indicates 4.7.3001. Is this the best we can hope for, or am I doing something wrong / missed something ? Any help would be appreciated as the N130 is a great piece of kit, but my daughter is getting disinterested if she cannot use MSN LM the same way as per the laptop etc. Thanks in advance

Hi Andy, I was going to suggest a reinstall but it sounds like you have already tried that. MSN works OK on my NC10 although the video always seems to be stuck on small - not really a problem for me as it's not something I use.

Some people have previously suggested using this utility (http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Chat/Other-Chat-Tools/ZapMessenger.shtml)to completely uninstall LM - but it's not something i've tried.

I have also heard that MS official support for their live products is pretty good too - better than people might think! Here is their link: http://windowslivehelp.com/product.aspx?productid=2
